Blogs are a great way to stay in the know. Over the past decade, bloggers have become a real force in the lifestyle industries. Those successful enough have moved forward to land major campaigns with top companies, turning their lifestyle blogs into multimillion-dollar businesses. Some have even become household names.

If you haven’t previously followed any lifestyle bloggers, or want to expand your existing repertoire, I thought that I would share a list of five lifestyle blogs from across the globe that I’ve really grown attached to. Many of these launched during a time when blogs weren’t near the phenomenon they are today. There’s one thing that each of these blogs have in common: they are owned by some of the fiercest women on the web.

My TOP favourite lifestyle bloggers

1. Cup of Jo, US

Founded back in 2007, A Cup of Jo is a luxury lifestyle blog that talks fashion, beauty, design, food, travel, relationships, motherhood and more. That’s right, it’s a one-stop shop kind of blog. The voice is of Joanna Goddard, a chic and savvy mother living in NYC. She comes off as the kind of person I feel like I would click with immediately. Expect to find tips for all things health, beauty and fashion, a variety of scrumptious recipes and of course loads of parenting advice. She presents it all in a fun and engaging way that will keep you wanting more. Trust me. If you’re still not convinced, do some quick research. Cup of Jo has been praised as one of the top-10 lifestyle websites for women; an amazing accomplishment in a now saturated market. Additionally, she’s backed by several renowned brands including Lucky, Martha Stewart and J.Crew.

2. Sincerely Jules, US

Julie Sariñana founded the creative lifestyle blog Sincerely Jules as a way to express herself. She beautifully curates her thoughts and ideas on style, wanderlust and more, attracting an ever-growing audience. With a focus on fashion and travel, she encourages readers to be bold and creative, even if it means breaking the traditional rules that society has set. Completely real and down to earth, her blog posts read like a breath of fresh air. She lives by the motto ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ and invites her readers to do so, too. Sarinana is also the Creative Director for Shop Sincerely Jules, an eclectic, chic clothing line. Shop it on the blog!

3. The Blonde Salad, Europe

Chiara Ferragni expresses her thoughts, mostly on personal style, in this highly recognised luxury lifestyle blog. She’s grown her brand to become a source of inspiration for millions around the world. Among her long list of accomplishments are hundreds of deals with major fashion labels and well-read magazines. Oh, and she was also recently named as one of the most influential faces of the industry. This blog is non-nonsense and packed with all kinds of interesting reads. Check out her post on 5 Unusual Ways To Wear Velvet.

4. The Fashion Fruit, Europe

The Fashion Fruit is the second most-read lifestyle blog in Italy today. Veronica Ferraro, the woman behind the screen, is a highly recognised for her carefully picked outfits paired with super clean photography. Her posts are relatable, including many personal stories, which always make it a fun read. She’s received praise from major magazines and has collaborated with a number of high fashion brands. Dior, Fendi, Chanel, L’Oreal and Saint Laurent are just to name a few. In 2015 Veronica became more involved in fitness and travel. This led her to restyle the blog, further enhancing these sections. Never without a great pair of sunglasses, she makes getting dressed and hitting the town (okay, beautiful destinations around the world) look easy.

5. A Pair And A Spare DIY, Asia

A Pair & A Spare is a lifestyle blog dedicated to discovering creativity in all areas of life. Think: fashion, food, travel, interiors, entertaining, beauty and business. Here you’ll find tutorials, recipes, interviews and fun-to-read advice columns. Geneva Vaderzeil is the brain behind the operation and has managed to make it one of the most successful DIY and lifestyle blogs to date. Originally from Brisbane, Geneva now resides in Hong Kong but commands a loyal following around the globe. In addition to her successful blog, Geneva has published best-selling book DIY Fashionista and designed her own shoe collection. She truly inspires others to fulfill their creative spark in every way possible. Check out this DIY Test Tube Vase Chandelier.

A lifestyle blog has the power to inspire, support and guide. It can break down barriers, dispel myths and encourage others to step outside their comfort zone. I find they help me to unearth and live more of a beautiful life. I recommend checking out all of these, but be warned- they’re highly addictive!
